Does Facebook deserve a second chance at protecting our privacy?

Facebook has launched a new tool for mobile app developers that allows them to test a Playable Ad and its call-to-action before sending it down the line to be uploaded to Facebook.

The Playable Ads Preview tool tests the ad’s assets and ensures that it meets the specifications. As app marketers lean heavily on this to gain app downloads, I lean heavily on my dog for cuddles.

Google is making system updates to fight ad spend on bots.

With AdSense and AdMob working hand in hand, publishers will see when their ads are restricted due to the new machine learning risk prediction models, the lack of a site verification and a little notification in the Policy Center. Unlike the average position removal, this can cause a decline in ad traffic.

Facebook is working to reign in the trust issues with the Off-Facebook Activity tool.

The said tool will shine a light on the data that is pulled for apps and websites that communicate with Facebook about what you do. Thankfully, you will have the capability to disconnect information from your account but I don’t want to wait until it is released in America. Anyone want to go test it out with me in Spain?

Google Ads are coming in hot with a new Smart Bidding strategy.

With advanced machine learning, wide range of contextual signals, flexible performance controls and transparent performance reporting, you should save time and improve performance. This new strategy uses machine learning to optimize for the best conversion value or conversions. Dealers choice.

Google is giving Snapchat a run for their money with more filters on the Overview page.

Maybe they don’t give you an old face or make it look like you actually put on make-up today but you can filter by device, campaign, campaign type, campaign status, ad group and ad group status. If you aren’t happy with those filters, go back to Snap.
